Mohave Electric Cooperative has awarded the 2004 Good Cents Builder of the Year

award to Mountain View Homes of Arizona . Mohave Electric has been certifying Good

Cents Energy Efficient Homes since 1993. Energy efficient home building begins with

the design and continues throughout the entire building process. Mountain View Homes

entire staff is dedicated to the Good Cents Program. "Everybody, from the construction

superintendent, to the office manager, to the sales department strives to make the Good

Cents Energy Efficient Home Program work," said Steve Bouman , Mohave Electric's

energy expert. Good Cents is the largest and the oldest energy efficient home building

program in the United States . Customers have confidence that certified Good Cents

homes will use less energy, which is even more important in our hot desert climate than

in other areas of the country. By reducing air conditioning expenses for the homeowner,
